Updates

I have been fortunate enough to have my hours cut at work. I will be off every Thursday (unpaid, of course. wheeee.) so I have decided to do something I've been wanting to do for quite some time.

I'm starting a Brownie troop for Megan. She is so excited! She said the best part about being a Girl Scout is that she'll have to wear one of those cute uniforms. I don't know what uniform she's thinking about; the ones I remember are ugly.

I also joined the board for our swim club. And I volunteer for Little League which starts in January.

I bought a new phone.

It's so pretty!

So, Yeah

This posting thing? I'm not so good at it. I will try to do better.

Please chew with your mouth closed. I don't care to see the marshmallow floating around in your mouth while you are masticating. It's gross.

Please do not talk with your mouth crammed full of the above mentioned partially masticated marshmallow. That is also gross. I don't care how cute your swishy little bangs are. You look like a slob.

Bullets Baby!

• Pumpkin Spice Lattes are back at Starbucks! Hooray! So yummy! I like them better than their eggnog lattes.
• Megan's soccer team is now 2-0! She's been playing forward for three quarters a game. Which means LOTS of running! She's been sleeping very well lately.
• Last night when Megan was doing her homework, she was having problems grasping the rounding up/down concept. After I explained it to her multiple times, she sighed and said "I wish I had payed attention in class instead of daydreaming." I'm so proud of her!
• Jack is enjoying fifth grade (so far!). The other day he quite proudly announced that he finished all of his work in class! Dare I hope for an easier year?
• On Saturday, the kids spent so much time vacuuming that the machine overheated! Fortunately it started right up once it had cooled down, but boy are my carpets clean!
• My kids like to vacuum.

I think that's all for now! I'm going to be thinking up a new recipe for The Kitchen Cabinet this week, so keep your eyes peeled!
